well i know, i should of done this review a while ago, but since i've been wating to read the original version of city of bones, i think you'll forgive me :p I know alot of you already read this book, but let's just act like if you didn't and just finaly tell you more about what i thought when reading it. the thing about city of bones is that is was unique, i mean it's rare to read a novel with such a GREAT new imagined world almost similar to the harry potter's one, but even more rich and developped. every mythique creature that we know is actually in this SHADOWHUNTER's univers. Vampires, Wherewolves, warlocks,demons, angles, and downworlders..etc they are alll part of the story *-* SO, the world that Cassandra Clare created was beyond my wildest dreams. The crazy creatures, the awesome weapons, and the cool runes were AMAZING. Also, while reading City Of Bones, you realy don't know what's coming next, (yeaaahhh i read it twice but if you read it for the first time, you'll not see what's coming xD) you can't even guess how it's going to end. Actually, all you can do is imagining all the possible issus for the story. What about the characters? huum how am i gonna say it... i kind of fell in love with Jace. EVERYBODY DID, EVERYBODY DOES, i'm not going to be the exception, right? seriously, that guy is just INSANE *-* sooo sarcastic and funny, he acts like he doesn't care but he does. and the autor describes him sooo well that she makes us feel like "this boy, i just wanna meet him !!". Clary on the other hand, is a little bit disapoiting. We can see her character a little lost when we start the book, then she becomes a key character for the story... i just did'nt realy understand her evolution, but she's ok. Isabelle, also, is hard to understand, at the beganing i thought i'm gonna hate her, then she became my favorit character after JACYYY <3 LOL And Finaly Alec, who is Isabelle's brother, by the way. He is PERFECT. a normal Shadowhunter (feels weard to use the word "normal" to describe a shadowhunter LOL) with normal reactions. He is the kind of characters i usaly like :D Overall, City Of Bones is a new favorite of mine. If you haven’t read the series yet, check it out! I know I am one of the last bloggers to cave and read it but it’s totally worth it. The reviews are not lying. It’s spectacular!
